Ox Resto Bar brings a fresh take on upscale casual dining in Lagos, blending Nordic design elements with vibrant urban energy. The venue is known for its refined simplicity, iconic wall murals, and versatile ambiance that evolves effortlessly from brunch to late-night.
A TO Z Construction was selected to deliver the complete interior execution, translating the client’s Scandinavian-inspired concept into a tangible, functional, and photogenic environment. The result? A sleek, modern space that complements the food and drinks while enhancing the overall guest experience.
The project presented a clear challenge: to balance minimalism with warmth — a core trait of Nordic aesthetics — while still achieving a dynamic, social feel suitable for a busy Lagos crowd. We approached this with an emphasis on clean lines, natural textures, neutral tones, and a subtle interplay of wood and metal finishes.
A key highlight of the Ox Resto Bar project is its mural design wall, which became an Instagram-worthy statement feature. We created a custom backdrop with textured finishes that highlight the bold visual language of the brand without overpowering the space.
Seating configurations were designed to support flexibility — from intimate two-seaters to large communal tables. Every inch of the space was maximized to ensure flow and functionality, especially during high-traffic hours.
From a technical standpoint, we installed custom lighting, temperature control systems, and acoustic treatments to create a welcoming environment that encourages guests to stay longer. The bar area was constructed with a modular back bar system for ease of service and visual depth.
Today, Ox Resto Bar is recognized not only for its menu but for its standout interiors and contemporary mood — a success story in both hospitality design and brand execution.
